Jai Nitai!
When the kirtaniyas and other mahatmas come to Brindaban yearly from Sri Path Bari Ashram, Barahanagar, Kolkata, to perform kirtan the first kirtan is always the one commenmorating the disappearance lila of Srinivas Acharya Prabhu. Here are a few photos I took on the occasion this year. Despite what you may see in the pictures the kirtan was very well attended and lasted at least three hours. It was a very emotional kirtan and several times Bablu Da was unable to sing momentarily due to ecstasies erupting from within his heart.

Jai Nitai!
Hi Malati. Glad you enjoy the photos. As usual trying to describe how to get to places in Brindavan can be a little tricky due to all the small galis and twisting roads. It is in the Dhira Samira area. This is the best description I can give. From Radha Gopinath Maandir continue straight to Gopinath Bazaar Road. Make a left turn and go until you can take your first right turn down a small road. It’s just a few minutes walk or so and will be on your left side. At that point the road will want to jog to the right. It is quite close to Gopeshwar Mahadev. The sign is (now) in green and red letters in Bengali and Devanagari, but no English.
Hope that helps…
