A friend told me to look at this blogsite and write something in it. I was not going to when I thought that maybe this communication might use some input and thus here we are: 30 years ago Dr. Kapoor took me to a gathering of Baro Baba’s Sadhu Sisyas in Vraja. It was at Siddha Sri Gauranga Dass Baba’s Ashram. Dr. Kapoor was taking me to see a Siddha as he put it – to get Sadhu-Sang and blessings from him. I remember very clearly the experience and meeting for the first time Sri Chandra Shekar Dass Babaji Maharaj. He had come in from the wild area of Vraja to give dandivat to his Blessed Gurudev, etc. It was an amazing experience to see him in intense Bhav. It is amazing again that he is still alive after all these years!

His imgage is always kept in the alter along with RadhaRamanDev and JagadBandhu Prabu in our Parampara. Even his famous disciples were also very dear and near to our spiritual family. In such manner Babaji Maharaja received devine blessings and energy from the three most eluminating divine personalities of Gaudiya Vaishnava Samaj of modern times.

About Hari Baba :
My Guruji told me that he was the one who inspired the Hari Govinda Ras Valla (Lila performing group)at Vrindavan to perform Mahaprabhu Lila instead of Krishna Lila.
He told that he got often blessings from that Baba and that he often attented his Bhagavad classes. The Ashram in Vrindavan must be near Raman Reti- near Akhandanand Sarasvati Ashram.

This guru pranali has nothing to do with the Gaudiya Math. In fact, they cannot produce a real guru pranali which means they don’t have a proper parampara. Their founder invented his own system which is not accepted by any traditional Caitanya Vaisnava lineage.

Dear Gourav, what I am saying is that the Gaudiya Math has no list of diksha gurus going back to Mahaprabhu to show. They claim they have a “Bhagavat parampara” which is a list they made up of who they see as the brightest acharyas since the time of Mahaprabhu but they have no formal (diksha) relationship with any of them. This method of producing a disciplic succession has never been done before and the properly initiated traditional Gaudiya Vaisnavas don’t see them as having an authentic succession.

baba ji … i get to know that u r not doing hare krishna mahamantra.. u r doing any else mantra…. which is not given by maha prabhu .. if it true wt is reason behind this.
Mahamantra given by Mahaprabhu no one can change. It is still there. What mantra anyone does given by Guru is not open for discussion. The Mantras said aloud Bhaja Nitai Gaur Radhe Shyam has a special reason behind it. Since this is Sakhicharan Das Ji’s blog I will let him explain. Gourav you must follow your Guru, similarly people follow their Guru and whatever they instruct.

the above said mantra defines itself. In kaliyug you should worship the Sri Charan of Sri Nitai Chand and Sri Gaur Chandra, and still enchant the mahamantra. However in our guru parampara the mahamantra(Hare krishna….) is not sung or pronounced aloud as it is supposed to be a paramparik mantra. Who ever you pass this on to is supposed to be your Shishya. So this is only to be recieved from Param Aradhya Sri Gurudev and not to be passed on or sung aloud. It is by guru kripa that you are eligible to jaap the mahamantra, but the patita pavana – Bhaja Nitai Gaur – mantra is open for every one!

I would suggest going to Bengal and visiting our ashrams or visit various Nityananda vamsh Goswamis in Khardah and Nabadwip.

The only other place in Brindavan that you might find it is at Sri Rajani Baba’s Ashram near Govinda Kund. I am referring to the Govinda Kund in Brindavan, not in Govardhan. If you can’t find the books there, then you will have to get them at Sri Path Bari Ashram, Baranagar, Kolkata.

My pleasure. The kirtaniyas from Path Bari Ashram will be arriving tomorrow (10th) in Brindavan for 10 days of kirtan festivals. They will probably be staying at the usual place, Basanti Bai Dharmashala behind the subzi market in Loi Bazaar. You can talk to someone there about obtaining the books. If nothing else, I imagine that they could mail them to you.
